The Fairfield PaintOut event is set to make its return to the area from September 24th through 28th, with a special tribute to the late Spencer Meagher. The event will follow a Tuesday through Saturday format similar to previous years. Artists will have the opportunity to paint throughout the week, culminating in Friday’s Art Show at the Floral Hall on the Wayne County Fairgrounds, with judging taking place on Saturday, September 28th.
In honor of Spencer Meagher, a beloved member who passed away in March after battling cancer, the committee plans to introduce new award categories this year. Meagher’s wife, Cindy, will sponsor an award for the Best Use of Light. Additionally, there will be a new award titled “Seeing the World Through Spencer’s Eye,” which will be judged by Dr. Patrick Molt.
