The 16th annual Wayne County Antique Tractor Drive will be held on Labor Day, Monday, September 2nd. All tractors that are model year 1994 or earlier (30 years of age or older) are welcome to participate. This year’s drive is a tribute to the late Brent Opell, who first brought the idea of a county tractor drive to the Wayne County Farm Bureau. The route will begin and end at the Wayne County Fairgrounds in Fairfield. Check-in will begin at 8:00 a.m. with a planned departure time of 9:00 a.m.
The driver meeting will begin promptly at 8:45 a.m. Registration is $20 per tractor if registered by August 15th. After August 15th, registration is $30. Lunch is included with the registration fee. Pre-registration is requested. To register and for additional information about this year’s Tractor Drive, go to http://www.waynecfb.com/tractordrive.
