Darrell K. Pierce, 88, of Grayville, Illinois, died Monday, November 23, 2014, at his home. Darrell worked for many years in the automobile industry as a service writer. He was a member of the Worldwide Church of God in Pasadena, California. He was an Army veteran of World War II, where he served in the Asiatic Pacific Theater, and was part of the Army of Occupation in Japan.
Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Wilma Pierce of Grayville; daughter Diane Berryman of Albion; grandchildren Sarah and Kyle; great grandchildren Madilynn, Alice and William.
In keeping with Darrell’s wishes, his remains were cremated. A memorial service will be at a later date.
The Cook Funeral Chapel in Grayville is in charge of arrangements.
