Jerry S. Gentry, age 84, a resident of Elgin, IL passed away on Saturday, November 21st, 2015 in Elgin, IL. He was a singer, songwriter and poet.
Survivors include 3 nephews: Jim Holland, Jerry Overby and Robert Gentry, and 2 Nieces: Donna Pierce and Teresa Ann Minor.
Graveside services For Jerry S. Gentry will be held on Monday, November 30th, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. at the Dahlgren I O O F Cemetery.
Those attending the service are asked to meet at the cemetery.
A visitation was held earlier at Symonds Funeral Home in Elgin Illinois.
