William Heads, 84, of Carmi passed away at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, on Thursday morning, August 25, 2016. He had worked at A1 Electric, was a janitor at CWCHS, a local grave digger, and mowed yards.
He is survived by sons, William Heads, Jr., Gary Heads and Kelly Heads, all of Carmi; daughters, Pam Heads of Carmi, and Connie (George) Edwards of Muddy; 3 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and sister, Betty Pealer of Missouri.
Funeral services will be held at Noon on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Carmi. Burial will be in North Maple Ridge Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Carmi.
