87 year-old Elsie Louise Sayge of Fairfield, IL, formerly of Mt. Carmel, IL, passed away on Saturday, October 15, at Wayfair Nursing Home in Fairfield.
Elsie graduated from Mills Prairie High School. She was a member of Heartland Worship Center. She devoted her life to raising her three children.
Survivors include her children: Sonja Hall and husband Phil of Fairfield, Carmen and the late Charles Littrell of Rosiclaire, IL, and Loyde R. Sayge of Mt. Carmel; ten grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild; and sister, Delpha Hayden and husband Charles of Chapel Hill, Tennessee.
Visitation is Tuesday, October 18, 2016 from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. at Short Funeral Home.
Funeral service is Tuesday, October 18 at 11:30 a.m. in the Chapel of Short Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Cemetery.
