65 year-old Louis B. Bachman of Tremont, Illinois died Wednesday, March 1, at his residence.
He was a United States Army veteran having served during the Vietnam War. He worked 43 years for CNH, formerly DMI and Case IH in Goodfield, Illinois, retiring in 2016. He enjoyed riding his Harley motorcycle and was an avid St. Louis Cardinal Baseball fan.
Survivors include daughter Ashley Anna Bachman of Tremont, Illinois; brothers Albert (Shirley) Bachman of Kansas City, Missouri, David (Rhonda) Bachman of Carmi; sister Lyndall (Dave) Flanagan of Dix, Illinois; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation and funeral are Monday, March 6, at Cook Funeral Chapel in Carmi. Visitation will be held at 11:00 am and funeral at noon. Burial with military rites will be in Bruce Chapel Cemetery.
