Delbert Lee “Bud” Anthis – Fairfield

Delbert Lee “Bud” Anthis, 76, of Fairfield, died at 12:11pm Thursday, April 5, 2018, at Evergreen Hospital in Kirkland, Washington. He worked for the Illinois Department of Transportation in New Lenox, IL until his retirement. He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during the Vietnam War as an ammunitions truck driver in Germany.

Survivors include his only son Greg (Jen) Anthis of Kirkland, WA, two granddaughters, Abigail and Alivia, and one sister JoAnn (Duane) Hetzel of Fairfield, IL.

Funeral services for Delbert “Bud” Anthis will be at 1pm on Friday, April 13th, at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home in Fairfield with burial in Shrewsbury Cemetery in Mill Shoals with full military rites.

Visitation will be at 11am until the time of the service at the Johnson & Vaughn Funeral Home in Fairfield.

Memorials can be made to the First General Baptist Church in Fairfield and will be accepted at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home which is in charge of arrangements.
