Fairfield native, William Kelly “Bill” Medler, 67, of Hoopeston, IL died at 10:15 P.M. Sunday June 3, 2018, at his home. He was born November 26, 1950, in Fairfield, IL, the son of Harry Charles and Alma Mae (Grissith) Medler. He was a high school chemistry and biology teacher until his retirement.
Survivors include his wife, the former Darlene Knapp; two sisters, Sarah (Gene) Talbert of Evansville, IN and Margaret (Paul) Lange of Newton, IL; and 6 nieces and nephews, Mark and Scott Talbert, Cassie, Jasmine, and Nikki Gramm and Karl Lange.
Cremation rites will be accorded and a visitation will be held 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. Saturday June 16, 2018 at the Hoopeston United Methodist Church 403 E. Main St. Hoopeston, IL.
A memorial service will follow the visitation and will begin at 1:00 P.M. Saturday at the church.
