Betty Ruth Fowler, 78, a resident of Griffith, Indiana and formerly of Macedonia died Monday, June 11, 2018 surrounded by her family.
Betty was employed at Omega Steel in Griffith. She was the owner of Smitty’s Tree Service.
She is survived by her son Craig (Sandy) Fowler; grandchildren: Chad Fowler, Andy Fowler, Sarah Fowler, Kristina (Tim) King, and Steffany (John) Hauenstein; great grandchildren: Andrea Fowler, Margaret and Chloe King, Maleah and Gabriel Johnson, and Isabella and Alexander Hauenstein.
A graveside funeral service will be held Monday, June 18, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Macedonia Cemetery in Macedonia, IL. Those attending the service are asked to meet at the cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Highland First Church of the Nazarene.
The Gholson Funeral Home of McLeansboro is in charge of arrangements.
