Louise Hertlein,89 of Carmi passed away Monday morning November 9, 2015 at Wabash Christian Retirement Center in Carmi. Louise was a homemaker and retired from the telephone office. After retiring she became very active in the Carmi American Legion Auxiliary. She was a member of Emmanuel Methodist Church in Carmi.
She is survived by her sisters-in-law Lyndel Brennan and Stella Whetstone and numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Lewis, and a brother Shearl Zimmerman.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday November 12th at the Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Carmi with burial in Maple Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Online condolences may be left at stendebackfamilyfuneralhome.com
