Sammie A. Pruitt, 75 of Fairfield, died at 12:45 PM, Thursday, November 19,2015 at his home. Sammie was the manager of Wareco gas station in Fairfield for 23 years and was a member of the First Baptist Church.
His survivors include his wife Paulette of Fairfield, a son Richard Allen (Judy) Pruitt of Columbia, MO, daughters Sami Lyn Pruitt of Fairfield and Julie Beth (Jason) Berry of Mt. Vernon, IL, 5 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and brothers Jonnie (Dana) Pruitt of New Baden, IL and Garrie (Linda) Pruitt of Sullivan, MO.
Funeral services for Sammie Pruitt will be held on Monday, November 23, 2015 at 1 PM at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home with burial in the Maple Hill Cemetery.
A visitation will be held from 11 AM until the time of service on Monday. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church.
