Robert Dale Vaupel, Sr., 71, of Grayville, Illinois, died Friday, April 01, at his home. He was a retired electrician. Robert enjoyed hunting, fishing, dog trials, trucks, and watching boxing and NASCAR racing.
Survivors include son Robert (Georgia) Vaupel of Dundas, Illinois; daughter Stacy Jane (Benny) Brand of Grayville; brother Theodore “Ted” Vaupel of Fairfield, Illinois; sister Pat (Bob) Duckworth of Carmi, Illinois; grandchildren James Brines, Devin Vaupel, Heather Vaupel, Stephanie Vaupel.
Visitation and funeral are Wednesday, April 6, at Cook Funeral Chapel in Grayville. Visitation is at 9 am and funeral is at 11 am. Burial will be in Centerville Cemetery north of Carmi.
