80-year-old former Olney resident, Gary L. Gawthorp of Johnson Creek, WI, died Tuesday April 12, 2016 at the Jefferson Memory Care facility in Jefferson, WI. Gary served in the United States Army from 1956-1959. He was employed at General Motors in Janesville until his retirement in 2001.
He is survived by his daughters Sheila (Ken Hagedorn II) Heitz of Johnson Creek,WI Paula Gawthorp of Naples, FL, Teresa (James) Spangenberger of Delavan, WI, Christina Dykstra of Naples, FL. son Kevin (Nancy) Gawthorp of West Allis, WI, many grandchildren and several great grandchildren and step daughter-in-law Wendy Butcher of Burlington, WI
Funeral services for Gary L. Gawthorp will be 2 p.m. Sunday, April 17 at the Ingram Funeral Home in West Salem with burial in Macedonia Cemetery west of West Salem. Military honors will be performed at the gravesite.
Visitation will be 1 p.m. Sunday, April 17 until the time of service at the Ingram Funeral Home in West Salem.
