Zelda Leona Vickers, age 89, a resident of McLeansboro, IL passed away at 2:30 pm on Thursday, June 30th, 2016 at the Hamilton Memorial Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in McLeansboro. She worked at the former Elder Manufacturing Company in McLeansboro, she worked for several years as a cook at the Enfield Nursing Home, and she was a homemaker. She was also a member of Lick Creek Church.
Survivors include a son Rick (wife Pat) Vickers of Broughton, IL; 2 daughters: Vickie (husband James) Childers of McLeansboro, IL & Pat (husband Brian) Neal of Benton, IL; 7 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
Funeral services For Zelda Leona Vickers will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, July 3rd, 2016 at the Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro with burial in Prospect Cemetery near McLeansboro.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until the time of service at 2:00 pm on Sunday at the Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro.
