Clayton Dean Anthony Stanford, seven-week-old son of James Anthony and Tara Nicole (Hemrich) Stanford of Flora, died on Saturday, July 30.
Clayton is survived by his parents: James and Tara Stanford of Flora; big sister: Lillian Grace Stanford at home; paternal grandparents: Wyatt and Lisa Stanford of Iuka; maternal grandparents: Shelly Billington (Scott) of Flora and Carl Hemrich (Angela) of Flora; paternal great-grandparents: Delmar and Iris Stanford; maternal great-grandparents: Eileen Enlow, Anita Dickerson, Carol Billington, Tom and Jenny Hemrich, Tony and Sandy Mock, Virginia and Roger Ashley, and Sally Schofield; paternal aunts: Abby (Kris) Adcock and Sara Stanford; maternal aunts and uncles: Anthony Hemrich, Marcella and Walter McCormick, Jodi and Adam Cox, Jacob and Angelina Hemrich, and Zachary Allison; along with lots of cousins and extended family.
A funeral service for Clayton Stanford will be 5 p.m. Wednesday, August 3, 2016, at Xenia United Methodist Church, with visitation from 3-5 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Pastor Bob McNeely will officiate. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Flora. Memorial donations may be given to the family to assist with expenses. Arrangements are being handled by the Frank & Bright Funeral Home, Flora.
