Dana S. Shockley – Fairfield

Dana Shockley photo59-year-old Fairfield resident, Dana S. Shockley died at 7 p.m. Sunday evening, Oct. 16 at her home.  She had worked as a bookkeeper for area oil companies. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Fairfield.

Survivors include her husband, Russell Shockley of Fairfield; her father, Howard Wood of Fairfield; her step-father, Myron Goldblatt of Fairfield; two daughters, Rachael Marks of St. Louis and Jona Lehr of Gonzales, LA; a son, Adam and wife Michelle Marks of Chicago; a brother, Scott and wife Susie Wood of Fairfield; a sister, Leslie and husband Ron Smith of Mt. Vernon and three grandchildren.

Graveside services for Dana S. Shockley will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 22 at Maple Hill Cemetery in Fairfield.

There will be no visitation. Friends and family members are asked to directly to the cemetery.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and will be accepted at Nale’s Funeral Home in Fairfield, which is in charge of all the arrangements.
