Quentin “Duke” Patterson – McLeansboro

Duke66-year-old McLeansboro resident, Quentin “Duke” Patterson died at 11:45 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31 at the Marion VA Medical Center in Marion, Ill. He was retired from the U.S. Army as a Staff Sergeant.

Survivors include a  son, Bryan Patterson and wife Melissa of McLeansboro; a daughter, Denise Patterson of McLeansboro; four sisters, Pat Dial of McLeansboro, Darlene Flannel and husband Cecil of Twining, MI, Bonita Farris and husband Stephen of McLeansboro and Gail Patterson of McLeansboro; two brothers, Lendell Patterson of Zion, Ill. and Curtis Patterson of McLeansboro; grandchildren, Brandon and Jesse Patterson, Damien Morgan, Brady Thrane and Raynie Johnson and a special friend, Roxanne Ritcheson.

At his request, Mr. Patterson’s body will be cremated and a private family burial of ashes will take place at a later date.

Visitation will be from 6 – 8 Friday evening, February 3 at the Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro.
