75-year-old Wayne City resident, Melvin W. Draper died at 8:40 p.m. Wednesday, April 5. He was a retired machinist.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia Draper; a son, John and wife Ina Draper of Iowa; daughters, Leeta and husband Randy Mason of Wayne City and Rhonda Pottorff of Calhoun, Ill; a sister, Lois Ennis of Columbia, MO; five grandchildren; ten step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and ten step-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Melvin W. Draper will be 12 noon Saturday, April 8 at the Olive Branch Baptist Church near Wayne City with burial in Baltimore Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Saturday, April 8 until the time of service at the church.
The Richardson Funeral Home of Wayne City is in charge of all the arrangements.
