Phyllis Jean Malchert, 73, a resident of McLeansboro, IL, passed away Sunday, July 16, 2017 at the Nature Trail Nursing Home in Mt. Vernon, IL.
Phyllis is survived by her husband, Arthur F. Malchert Jr. of McLeansboro; two sons, Tom (Shelly) Maramba of McLeansboro, Arthur (Bobbie) Malchert of Lillington, NC; one daughter; Diana Malchert of McLeansboro; and ten grandchildren, Justin Maramba, Angel Maramba, Taylor Olivia Maramba, Rodney Johnson, Derek Johnson, Dillon Harris, Eric DeLong, Mason Jodon, Laila Malchert and Benjamin A. Malchert. Also surviving are three brothers, John (Karen) DePoister of Manteno, IL, James (Marsha) DePoister of Nashville, TN, and Phillip (Diane) DePoister of Valparaiso, IN.
Funeral services for Phyllis Jean Malchert will be held Friday, July 21, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro.
Visitation will be held Thursday, July 20, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro.
