Gary W. Wheeler, age 56, a resident of McLeansboro,Illinois passed away Saturday, July 29, 2017 at his home. He was the field boss for Shakespear Oil Company.
Survivors include his wife Vicky J. Wheeler, a son Cody Wheeler and girlfriend Bree Brisco of McLeansboro; a daughter Amy Seidel and her significant other Craig Stoll of Olney, Illinois;two grandchildren Samantha and husband Specialist Derek Files of the U S Army; Alex Seidel of Olney, Illinois;three great-grandchildren; Remington Files, Joscelin Files and Benjamin Files; two brothers Nick Wheeler of McLeansboro and Wade and wife Barbara Wheeler of McLeansboro; four sisters:Carolyn and husband Amos Draper of McLeansboro, Nancy Jo Wheeler of Mt. Morris, Illinois;Barbara and her companion Mike Simmons 0f Wayne City, Illinois and Lisa and husband Shane Barker of Dale, Illinois.
Funeral services for Gary W.Wheeler will be held on Tuesday,August 1, 2017 at l:00 P M at Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro with burial in the Old Springer Cemetery near McLeansboro.
Visitation will be from 9:00 A M Tuesday and until service time at 1:00 P M at Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro.
Memorials may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses and will be accepted at Gholson Funeral Home which is in charge of all the arrangements.
