Grace Irene (McGill) Davolt – McLeansboro

93-year-old former Broughton resident, Grace Irene (McGill) Davolt of McLeansboro died at 11:15 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 2 at Hamilton Memorial Hospital in McLeansboro.  A Pentecostal by faith, she was a homemaker.

Survivors include three daughters, Deborah Denise Reeder and husband Jeff of Benton, Ill., Mary Elizabeth Davolt-Vana and husband Don of Michigan and Rebecca Joan Davolt and husband Donald Gibbs of Wayne City; two sons, William Michael McMurtry and wife Carol of Brimfield, Ill. and John Steven Davolt and companion Jacqueline of Arlington, Va.; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Dorothy Roberts of Peoria, Mary Ruth Craddock of McLeansboro, JoAnn Gray of McLeansboro and Gloria Jean “Judy” Prince and husband Jerry of McLeansboro and two brothers, John Inman McGill of Peoria and Gary Edward McGill of Benton.

Funeral services for Grace Irene Davolt will be 12 noon Saturday, Jan. 6 at the Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro with burial at Hickory Hill Cemetery at Walpole.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday, Jan. 6 at the Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro.

Memorials may be made to Ten Mile Church and will be accepted at the Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro.
