George Michael Schroeder, 69, of Grayville, Illinois, died Wednesday, May 23, 2018, at his home. George was a retired coal miner. He was a member of the Antioch Christian Church in Cowling, Illinois, and for many years, he was caretaker of the Antioch Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Jennifer of Grayville; daughters Mary Ann (Greg) Rudolph of West Salem, Illinois, Jennilee Schroeder of Grayville; Melody Schroeder of Olney, Illinois; grandsons Dacin Rudolph, Jacob Rudolph and Evan Moore.
In keeping with George’s wishes, his remains were cremated. There are no services planned at this time.
The Cook Funeral Chapel in Grayville is in charge of arrangements.
