Michael W. Hartman, 61, of Grayville, Illinois, died Friday, June 1, 2018, at his home. Mike attended Cornerstone Church in Grayville, and was a United States Army Veteran. He was a mechanic.
Survivors include his wife, Julie Hartman of Grayville; mother Patricia “Pat” McKinney of Fairfield, Illinois; sons Brandon Raymond and Brian (Natasha) Raymond, all of Grayville; daughter Kelly Hartman of Herrin, Illinois; brothers Kenneth (Jennifer) McKinney of Olney, Illinois, Ed (Elaine) McKinney, John (Michelle) McKinney, Richie McKinney, Brian (Christie) McKinney, all of Fairfield; sister Shelia Bailey of Albion, Illinois; grandchild Bree Hartman; step-grandchildren Annastasia, Kali, Josie, Brandon, Jr., Madilynn, Myla and Aiden.
In keeping with Mike’s wishes, his remains were cremated. Visitation and memorial service will be Saturday, June 9, 2018, at Cook Funeral Chapel in Grayville. Visitation is at 10 am, and memorial service is at 11 am.
Following the memorial service, military rites will be conducted on the Cook Funeral Chapel parking lot.
No services will be conducted at the cemetery, and it is requested that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Cook Funeral Chapel to assist with final expenses.
