Donald M. Glenn – McLeansboro

88 year-old Donald M. Glenn of McLeansboro, died at 5:15 p.m. Sunday, July 22 at McLeansboro Rehabilitation and Health Care Facility in McLeansboro. He was a technician and was employed by Hamilton County Telephone Co-op. He was a member and Deacon of the First Baptist Church of Dahlgren. He also served in the U.S. Marine Corp.

Survivors include his wife – Mary Glenn of McLeansboro. Two sons – Lenny Glenn and wife Jane of Troy, Missouri and Michael Glenn and wife Sheila 0f McLeansboro. Grandchildren – Jeremy Glenn, Lesley Glenn, Justin Glenn and Adam Glenn. Several nieces and nephews, along with 11 great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services for Donald M. Glenn will be held on 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 25 at the First Baptist Church in Dahlgren, with burial to follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Dahlgren. The church doors will open at 10 a.m. before the funeral. Graveside Military Rites will be accorded by the American Legion Post 141 of Mt. Vernon, Illinois and the U.S. Marine Corp Honor Team. Pastor Michael Glenn will be officiating the services. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 24 at the First Baptist Church in Dahlgren.

In leiu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund or Volunteers Fire Department of Dahlgren.
