Cody James Kunce, 26, of rural Albion, IL, passed from this life to the next on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at his home.
He was born March 23, 1992 in Fairfield, IL. He is the son of Jason and Regina Crouse. Cody enlisted in the Marines, and was honorably discharged due to a medical condition. He loved being a mechanic and messing with cars, and worked at JTK Services. He enjoyed 4-wheeler riding, hunting, fishing, and demolition derbies.
Cody is survived by his parents Regina (Jason) Crouse of West Salem; two sisters: Natasha Kunce of Lynnville, IN and Andrea (Jordan Julian) Kunce of Ft. Branch, IN; grandparents: Kenneth and Kathryn Hall, Angela Crouse, and James and Carmen Kunce; two aunts: Amanda (Bob) Lutz and Angie (Dave) Moran; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandpa, Luke Crouse, Jr.
Visitation will be held Thursday, August 23, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Ingram-Meridith Funeral Home in Albion. The funeral service will be held Friday, August 24 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Full military rites will be conducted on the front lawn of the funeral home following the service.
Memorials may be made to the Downs Syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
