Helen Cline – Clay City

Helen Cline, 81, of Clay City, died at 3:30PM on Sunday, November 11, 2018 at the Linda White Hospice House in Evansville, Indiana. She had been a homemaker for many years. Helen was born in Albion, IL on January 7, 1937 to Ben and Eslie (Gromer) Barbre. She was married to Eugene Cline, who preceded her in death.

Survivors include her long-time companion Ronnie Tackitt of Clay City,  five sons Robert (Trena) Cline of Geff, Joe (Vickie) Cline of Fairfield, Gary (Brenda) Cline of Wayne City, Billy (Laura) Cline of Gilmer, Texas, and Roy Dale (Shelly) Cline of Flora, two daughters Becky (Dave) Bearse of Lakeland, Florida, and Edna Mae (Jimmy) Hale of Sullivan, Missouri, two special grandchildren Abby and Colton Cline along with 27 other grandchildren, several great grandchildren, one brother Frank (Rosalie) Barbre of Salem, and one sister, Betty (Lawrence) Huff of Fredericktown, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Eugene, one son Wesley Cline, and several brothers and sisters.

Funeral services for Helen Cline will be at 2PM on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at the Wayne City Church Of God in Wayne City, IL with burial in Richland Cemetery south of Boyleston. Visitation will be from 12PM-until the time of service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses and will be accepted at the Wayne City Church of God or at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home which is in charge of arrangements.
