Jim Onstott, 76, of Fairfield passed away at 12:42AM on Saturday January 5th at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, IN. He was a career Salesman and was very active in the Shriners. Jim was born on January 9th, 1942 in Hot Springs Arkansas to Charles R. and Gladys (Rosenbaum) Onstott. He married Berta George on February 20th, 1970.
Jim is survived by his Wife- Berta Onstott of Fairfield; Son- Tim (Donna) Onstott of Rosedale, IN; Daughters- Daphne (Chad) Pruitt of Fairfield and Erin (Patrick) Townzen of Edwardsville, IL; Grandchildren- Reagan and TJ Onstott, Alec and Blake Pruitt, Maxon, Maddox, and Mace Karnes, Tyler, Hannah, and Dalton Townzen, Grant Gilman, Nicholas and Dylan (Sammi) Brannon; Great Grandchildren- Zayla Perry and Kyle Brannon; One Brother- Walter Lee Hatcher of Washington, MO also survives.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral Services will be at 11AM Friday January 11th at Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5-8PM on Thursday January 10th at the Funeral Home. Per Jim’s wishes, His body will be cremated after the funeral service.
Memorials may be made to the St. Louis Shriners Hospital for Children and will be accepted at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home which is in charge of all the arrangements.
