Cecil L. Ellis, 97, of Fairfield passed away at 6:15AM on Tuesday February 26th at Aperion Care in Fairfield. He was an oilfield pumper. Cecil was born on August 25th, 1921 in Wayne County to Joseph and Grace (Groves) Ellis. He married Vera Chalcraft on April 17th, 1948.
Cecil is survived by his Wife- Vera Ellis of Fairfield. He was preceded in death by his Parents, and one Son- Rickey Ellis.
Graveside Services will be held at 10:30AM on Friday March 1st at Maple Hill Cemetery with military rites provided by Anthony Wayne Post #176 American Legion and the Wayne County Post #4535 VFW. There will be no Visitation, and everyone is asked to go directly to the Cemetery.
