Edith L. Cutright – Macedonia

90-year-old Edith L. Cutright, a resident of Macedonia, died Tuesday, March 5 at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon, IL.

She was born January 11, 1929 in Hamilton County to William John and Flora Ellen (Sullivan) Cutright.  A member of the Antioch Baptist Church, Edith was a retired Registered Nurse having worked in hospitals in St. Louis, MO and Franklin Hospital in Benton.
Edith is survived by one nephew, Morris Smith and his wife Tonna of Troy, IL; three nieces: Dorothy Sherley and her husband Norval Clay of Macedonia, Marilyn M. Morris and her husband Bill of Montgomery, TX and Judith Ann Galloway and her husband Jack of Gilman, IL.  Several great nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, John H. Cutright; two sisters: Mary Smith and Velma Johnson; and two brother-in-laws: Dawain Smith and Donald Johnson.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 10 at 1:00 p.m. at the Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro with Rev. Gale Lowery officiating.  Visitation will be Sunday March 10 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m at the Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro.  She will be laid to rest at the Antioch Cemetery near Macedonia following the funeral service.
