William O. “Bill” Rogers, 79 of Fairfield died at 3:23 PM, Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at his home. Born on October 27, 1939 in Johnsonville to William C. and Lydia Maxine (Flexter) Rogers, he was a truck driver and a US Army Veteran.
Bill is survived by his son Billy (DiElle) Rogers, granddaughters Carrington Dean and Arlington Jane Rogers, and brother Butch Rogers all of Fairfield. He was preceded in death his wife Haroldine, and his parents.
Funeral services for Bill Rogers will be held at 2 PM, Friday, March 29 at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home, with visitation from noon until the time of service. Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery with military rites provided by Anthony Wayne Post #176 American Legion and the Wayne County Post #4535 VFW. In lieu of flowers, per Bill’s wishes, memorials in his honor may be made towards his granddaughter’s education.
