Betty Lois Wolfe, 87, of West Salem, IL died on March 27, 2019 at Meadowood Nursing Home in Grayville, IL.
She was born February 5, 1932 in Griffith, IN to Lettia (Goldman) and Fred Moutray. She married Arthur Lee Wolfe on November 11, 1948 in Carmi, IL and he preceded her in death on November 24, 1997.
Betty was a nurse’s aide at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney, where she retired after over 20 years of service. She was not a member of any church but was a born-again child of God.
She is survived by three daughters: Judy Graham of West Salem, Connie (Herman) Hutson of Elizabethtown, IL, and Lisa (Barry) Goble of West Salem; seven grandchildren: Arthur Edward, Cheri Lynn, Bruce Eric, Brandon Lee, Henry Bryan, Lindsay Gale, and Ethan Ryan; 22 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister-in-law, Jean Moutray of Browns, IL.
Betty was preceded in death by parents and her husband; three brothers: Harold, Robert, and Fred; and one son-in-law, Ralph Graham.
Visitation will be held Sunday, March 31, 2019 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Ingram-Meridith Funeral Home in West Salem. The funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. with burial to follow at the Moravian Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Meadowood Activity Fund, and envelopes will be available at the service.
