Ronald W. Palmer, 72 of Fairfield, passed away at 11:28 AM, Saturday, April 20, 2019 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, IN. Born on March 1, 1947 in Mt Vernon to Virgil and Verla (Musgrave) Palmer, he was a US Army Veteran and a truck driver.
Ronald is survived by his sister Sharon (Garry) Kinney of Fairfield, nephews Gerry (Denise) Kinney of Fairfield and Troy (Cynthia) Palmer of Ft. Pierce, FL, and a niece Kim (John) Hubert of Evansville, IN. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother Dennis Palmer.
Funeral services for Ronald Palmer will be held at 2 PM, Thursday, April 25th at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home in Fairfield, with visitation from 1 PM until the time of service. Burial will follow in Burnt Prairie Cemetery, with military rites provided by Anthony Wayne Post #176 American Legion and the Wayne County Post #4535 VFW. Memorials in his honor may be made to VFW Post #4535.
