82-year-old Dee Hedden of Wayne City, died at 7:35 p.m. on Sunday April 28th at her home. She was retired from H.B. Williamson. Dee was born on February 12, 1937 in Wayne City to Everett and Katherine (West) Bullock.
Dee is survived by her daughters – Sherry (Brent) Esmon of Sims, and Teresa (Tony) Land of Fairfield. Two sons- Chester (Janet) Hedden of Centralia, and Chris Hedden of Wayne City. Three grandchildren- Mikki Robertson of Sims, and Katelyn Land and Colton Land both of Fairfield. Two great-grandchildren- Emily Robertson and Dawson Robertson both of Sims. Sisters- Debbie Greene and Winnie (Leo) Braddock both of Wayne City, and Dereth Maxey and Mimi Meyer both of Mt Vernon; Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Dee was preceded in death by her parents, husband- Wilbur Hedden, daughter- Georgia Hedden, and two sisters- Helen Matthews and Evelyn Greene.
Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday May 4th at Archie Sanders Chapel in Wayne City with burial in Thomason Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Friday May 3rd at Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home in Fairfield.
Memorials may be made to Archie Sanders Chapel, Thomason Cemetery, or SSM Hospice and will be accepted at Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home which is in charge of all the arrangements.
