Marty L. Murphy, 60 of Geff, died at 7:25 PM, Monday, May 27, 2019 at his home. Marty was a much beloved son, father, papa, and friend that stood strong in his Christian beliefs and faith, and was a lifelong trucker and farmer. He was a member of Grace Chapel Church.
Marty is survived by his father Larry Murphy of Geff, daughters Stephanie Church of Cisne and Gloria (John) Moore of Fairfield, son Jeffrey Murphy of Fairfield, 5 grandchildren- Jonah Church, Jacob Church, Kaden Murphy, Hannah Moore, and Patrick Moore, and 4 sisters- Donna (Terry) Frymire of Fairfield, Sheila (Steve) Cross of Mt. Vernon, Susan (Eldon) Buchanan of Fairfield, and Lisa Campbell of Fairfield. He was preceded in death by his mother Norma Murphy.
Funeral services for Marty will be held at 10 AM, Friday, May 31 at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Buckeye Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
