Carl William “Bill” Young, 76, of Fairfield passed away at 8:05AM on Friday June 28, 2019, at Fairfield Memorial Hospital. He was a truck driver and retired from Airtex. Bill was born in rural Barnhill on January 7, 1943 to Carl Wilburn and Norma Darlene (Brown) Young. He was a member of the Kings Chapel Church and a former charter member of the Geff Ruritans.
Bill is survived by Brothers- Earl (Barbara) Young and Larry (Leah) Young both of Fairfield, and David Young of Sunrise Beach MO; Sister- Norma (Tom) Mark of Browns; Sister-In-Laws- Ruth Ann Young and Maxi Young both of Fairfield. One Aunt- Norene Young of Fairfield; Step children- Brenda (Doug) Burik of Carrollton OH, and Jimmy Roemer of Tulsa OK; His faithful Labrador companion Lulu; Several Nieces, Nephews and numerous Cousins also survive.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, brothers- Chuck and Floyd Young, Infant sister-Linda, and a spouse Beverly Young.
Funeral Services will be at 11AM Tuesday at Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home with burial in Victory Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
