Janet Maxine Borah, 70, of Mt Erie passed away at 12:32PM on Thursday June 27, 2019 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville IN. She was a Secretary and a Bookkeeper. Janet was born in Mt Vernon on June 25, 1949 to Robert and Juanita (Simmons) Hinman. She married Pete Borah on August 30th, 1997 and was a member of the West United Methodist Church.
Janet loved painting and teaching her grandkids how to paint. She loved holiday dinners with all the family and making lots and lots of food, Janet also liked fixing food for others and helping whenever she could. She loved her antique dishes and going shopping for all sorts of pretty decorations. Janet loved attending all her grandkids’ ball games, programs, and activities. She was very proud of her family and especially her grandkids.
Janet is survived by her husband Pete Borah of Mt Erie; Daughters- Jill (William) McKibben Pittman of Clay City, Julie (Aaron) Wease of Noble, and Tracy (Jason) Jumps of Ballwin MO; Grandchildren- Derrick (Katie Weaver) Pittman, Cody Pittman, Brea Grace Pittman, Aaliyah Wease, Madisyn Wease, Zechariah Wease, Karissa Wease, Nicky Jumps, and Hilary Jumps.
Janet was preceded in death by her parents and sister- Sandra Ketzner.
A graveside service will be held at 11AM on Monday July 1st at West Cemetery South of Mt Erie. There will be no Visitation. All family and friends are asked to go directly to the Cemetery
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the West United Methodist Church
