Debbie Rubenacker – McLeansboro

61-year-old McLeansboro resident Debbie Rubenacker died at 12:24 p.m. on Saturday (April 4) at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, IN.  She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Enfield and worked in the child care field.

She was born on January 17, 1959 in Mt. Vernon to Linus Paul “Buck” Rubenacker and Linda Sue (Blades) Rubenacker. Debbie loved playing bingo, hanging out with family, and taking care of nieces and nephews.

Debbie Rubenacker is survived by daughter Nicole Rubenacker of McLeansboro; sisters Tammy (husband Windell) Bowman of McLeansboro, Paula (companion Roger) Jackson of McLeansboro, and Kris Taylor of Mt. Sterling; companion Harry Green and family of Waltonville; “OLLIE” the Cat; nephews Paul Jackson, Holden Jackson, Caleb Taylor, Luke Bowman, Cole Taylor, Clayton Taylor, and Gregor Garrett; niece Kelsey Bowman; numerous great nephews and nieces; and uncle Charles (Becky) Blades of Benton.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Barbara Rubenacker.

Private family services for Debbie Rubenacker will be held under the direction of Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro with Father Obi officiating. Burial will be at the IOOF Cemetery in McLeansboro. Memorials may be made to the Hamilton County School Foundation and will be accepted by the family or Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro, which is in charge of arrangements.
