78-year-old Shirley Ann Wilson of Carmi, died Friday, June 5 at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Evansville, Indiana. She was born October 15, 1941 in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Robert L. and Verna (Wysocki) Seal.
Shirley enjoyed painting and, in her earlier years, enjoyed playing video games.
Survivors include her son, Dean Wilson of Alaska; half-brother Richard Seal; sister Barbara (Robert) Amidei of South Pasadena, Florida; a granddaughter; and special friends John and Wanda Goff of Carmi.
She is preceded in death by her parents; grandparents Emma and Henry Seal; and son Tim Wilson.
In keeping with Shirley’s wishes, her remains were cremated. A graveside committal service will be at a later date in Concord Cemetery.
Cook Funeral Chapel in Carmi is in charge of arrangements.
