Alma Atteberry Holstein, 73, of Barnhill, passed away at 2:13 PM, Wednesday, Sept 23, 2020 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, IN. She was born on February 3, 1947 in Gary, IN to Opal Lloyd and Myrtle (Taylor) Atteberry.
Alma is survived by her husband Charley Holstein Sr. of Barnhill, IL, sons Charley Holstein Jr. of Fairfield and David (Barbara) Holstein of West Palm Beach, FL, daughter June Holstein of Fairfield, 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, a brother James (Trena) Atteberry of Dietrich, sisters Donna Gallion of Springfield, Claudette (Richard) Porter of Bluford, and Leila (Tom) Alexander of Fairfield, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, and 2 sisters.
Funeral services for Alma Holstein will be held at 10 AM, Saturday, September 26 at Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Buckeye Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 5-7 PM on Friday at the funeral Home. We ask that those attending services follow state guidelines for COVID19. Johnson and Vaughn Funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
