86-year-old Phyllis J. Scott of Fairfield, died at 11:50PM on Wednesday, October 7th at her home. She was a homemaker. Phyllis was born in Mill Shoals on December 12th, 1933 to James William and Janie B. (Wallace) Simpson.
Phyllis is survived by son- Brad Hallam of Burnt Prairie; daughter- Denise Elliott of Fairfield; grandchildren- Gail Elliott of Atlanta GA, Landis Elliott of Fairfield, and Lindsey (Eric Haback) Hallam of Collinsville IL; great granddaughter- MiLynn Elliott of Fairfield; and a special friend- Noel Ray Vaughan of Fairfield.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, husband- Randall Scott, Sisters- Gladys Sluder and Reba Grisamer, brothers- Bill and Bob Simpson.
Per Phyllis’ request, a private service will be held and then her body will be cremated.
Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home is in charge of all the arrangements.
