Beverly Kay Rush, 70, of Keenes, IL passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at the Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, IN.
Beverly was born October 13, 1949 in Delavan, IL to her parents Lloyd and Lucille Martin. On October 15, 1994 she married William Lee Rush, who survives.
She was a homemaker and was a member of the Keenes Missionary Baptist Church. Beverly was well-known for her baking skills and frequently shared her baked goods with a wide variety of people and businesses all over the surrounding area.
Beverly is survived by her husband William Rush of Keenes, a son Charles Thompson of Austin, TX; 2 daughters: Kim Otte of Parnell, IA and Kristi Seff of Williamsburg, VA; 3 step-sons: Michael Rush of Lawton, OK, Jerry Rush of Hopedale, IL and Gordon Rush of Delavan, IL and a step-daughter Dee Parshall of Jacksonville, FL. She was preceded in death by both parents.
Per Beverly’s wishes, her earthly body was cremated and a Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be made to the Keenes Missionary Baptist Church and will be accepted at the church or at Young Funeral Home in Wayne City, which has been entrusted with assisting with arrangements.
