Roy Lee Bailey, 87 of Cisne passed away at 3:40 PM, Friday, January 1, 2021 at his home. Born on December 4, 1933 in Wayne City, IL to Paul and Novella (Dickey) Bailey he had been a mechanic. Roy was a veteran having served in the US Army, was a member and past master of the Fairfield Masonic Lodge and was a member of Arrington Prairie Church.
Roy is survived by his son Ryan (Kathy) Bailey of Fairfield, daughter Rogena (Terry) Moyer of Fairfield, 3 grandchildren- Tyler (Cassey) Moyer, Brooke (Matt) Brownly, and Dyllan Bailey, 3 great grandchildren, and a sister Louise Rodatz of Wayne City. He was preceded in death by his wife Evelyn (Ralston) Bailey, his parents, a grandson Trevor, a great grandchild, 4 brothers- Everett, Bud, Gene, and June, and a sister Pauline.
Graveside services for Roy Bailey will be held at 1 PM, Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Arrington Prairie Dickeyville Cemetery with military rites provided by Anthony Wayne Post #176 American Legion and the Wayne County Post #4535 VFW. Memorials in his honor may be made to Fairfield Masonic Lodge and will be accepted at the service or the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home which is in charge of arrangements.
