77-year-old Donald F. Gammon of Carmi, died Sunday evening, January 31 at his home. He was born March 7, 1943 in Mt. Vernon, IL the son of Carl and Eleanor (Payton) Gammon. He married Cordilia Jacquez on September 15, 1979 and she survives.
Donald was self-employed as a logger and an oil field truck driver during his life. He enjoyed spending time with his family and watching western shows.
He is survived by his wife, Cordilia; daughters, Tammy Gaudern, Pam Austin and Darlene Martinez; brother, Rodney Gammon; sisters, Peggy Crumbaker, Shelly Gammon and Carla Dame; eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother, Larry Joe Gammon.
