Daniel James Robinson – Wayne City

63-year-old Daniel James Robinson of Wayne City, died on Sunday, April 18 in St. Louis County, MO.  He was born on September 27, 1957 in Riverside, CA to his parents Donald & Marilyn (Lewis) Robinson.  He married Jerolyn (Gammon) Robinson on January 1, 1983 at Olive Branch Missionary Baptist Church south of Wayne City.

He owned Dan Robinson Trucking in Wayne City and was a truck driver for many years.  Dan loved spending time with his grandchildren.  He also had a lifetime love of auto racing.  Dan was a member of the Olive Branch Missionary Baptist Church.

Dan is survived by his wife Jerolyn Robinson, 2 sons: Daniel (Dianna) Robinson and Caleb (Alyssa) Robinson, a daughter Megan (James) Clark, 5 grandchildren and one due in July, a sister Julie Hitt of Oblong, IL; a brother David (Kimberly) Robinson of Tomball, TX; father-in-law Jerold Gammon, a brother-in-law Kimmy Gammon, 2 aunts, 1 uncle, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by both parents, his mother-in-law, one aunt and one uncle.

Funeral services for Daniel James Robinson will be held at 12 noon on Friday, April 23 at Olive Branch Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Steve Hamson officiating.  Visitation will be held from 10 am until the time of service on Friday at the church.  Burial will be at Baltimore Cemetery across from the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the the care of Jerolyn Robinson to assist with expenses and will be accepted at the church or at Young Funeral Home in Wayne City, which has been entrusted to provide arrangements.  Online condolences may be made at www.youngfuneralhomellc.com
