64-year-old Robert F. “Bob” Jarman, Jr. of Norris City, died at 1:49 a.m., Wednesday, June 16 at Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado. He was born in Lansing, MI on February 22, 1957 the son of Robert F. and Janyce Iva (Meacham) Jarman. Bob married Carolyn Wilson in Shawneetown on June 12, 1982. He worked in the oilfield industry for B&B Tank Truck Services. Bob enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Bob is survived by his wife of 39 years, Carolyn; his mother Janyce Jarman of Palm Coast, FL; three sisters, Cheryl (Dean) Nettles of Palm Coast, FL, Janyce Zimmerman of Leslie, MI and Susan Currier of Dayton Beach, FL; three brothers, Doug (Cindy) Jarman of Omaha, IL, Steven Jarman of Daytona Beach, FL and Danny Jarman of Clarksville, MI; along with several nieces and nephews and a brother-in-law, Carl (Loreta) Wilson. He was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Linda Jarman.
Funeral services for Robert F. “Bob” Jarman of Norris City will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, June 19 at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery in Norris City. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at noon at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Bob’s memory to Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City to assist the family with funeral expenses.
