Lois Ann Harrelson, 72, of Crossville, Illinois, died Saturday, June 26, 2021, at Wabash Christian Village in Carmi, Illinois. She was born January 9, 1949, in Akron, Ohio, the daughter of Ward and Mary (Colledge) Worley.
For many years, Lois worked as a legal secretary in Carmi. She was a member of the Methodist Church in Crossville. Some of her favorite pastimes were yard sales, antiquing, and murder mystery stories both in books and on the screen.
Survivors include daughter Michele Halligan of Crossville; grandchildren Tori Halligan of Chicago, Illinois, Kloe Halligan of Crossville; sister Marilyn (Ken) Botsch of Round Rock, Texas; niece Kelli (Graham) Scott and their children Christian Scott, Wyatt Scott and Lucy Scott; nephew Davin (Tina) Botsch; and her beloved dog Bentley.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
In keeping with Lois’ wishes, her remains were cremated and no services are planned.
