70-year-old Donna Kay Day of Grayville, died Monday, July 26 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. She was born July 19, 1951, in Grayville, the daughter of Kenny and Wilma (Goldman) Horton. She was married to Leland Jack “Blue” Day, and he preceded her in death on September 21, 2019.
She was a retired coal miner.
Survivors include mother Wilma Horton of Grayville; sons Kenny (Carman) Stone of Albion, Mark (Wendy) Stone of Grayville; brother Jerry (Freida) Horton of Grayville; sister Anita Scarlett of Grayville; grandchildren Brandon, Blake, Kaleena, Haley, Garrett, Kaleb, Katlyn, and Tylan; and seven great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her father, Kenny Horton; and husband, Leland Jack “Blue” Day.
In keeping with Donna’s wishes, her remains were cremated and no services are planned.
