55-year-old Bobby Wayne Harris of McLeansboro, died at 8:25 a.m. on Tuesday, September 14 at his residence. He was a mechanic and was employed by Continental Tire in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. Bobby loved to work on cars and trains.
He was born on September 22, 1965 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Bobby Gene Harris and Marietta (Wagers) Harris.
Survivors include his mother: Marietta Harris of McLeansboro; son: Dillon Harris of McLeansboro; daughter: Abbie Elain Kelton of Salem; two grandchildren: Mercie Ann Kelton and Lalya Marie Kelton; two brothers: Jeffrey Scott Harris of McLeansboro and Kelvin Don Harris of Wayne City. Bobby was preceded in death by his father: Bobby Gene Harris.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon Friday, September 17 at Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro with Pastor Andy May officiating. Burial will be at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in McLeansboro. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 noon Friday, September 17 at Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro.
