Cheryl Rae Glick – Fairfield

70-year-old Cheryl Rae Glick, passed away on the evening of September 15, 2021 at her home, in the Tipperary Place CILA house in Fairfield, Illinois. Cheryl was born on October 13, 1950, in Olney to the parents of Bill and Betty (Stallings) Glick. Cheryl lived in Texas as a young girl and always talked fondly of her friend’s and experiences there. When she was in Illinois, she loved to visit her aunt Gloria & uncle Ronnie Musgrave’s home because she was able to spend time with their horses and dogs that she loved so much. Her own dog Coco guarded her at bedside through her last days. Cheryl was a St. Louis Cardinals fan, she loved John Wayne movies, country music, laughing with little ones, and going anywhere!

Cheryl Rae Glick is survived by a sister Carol (Pat) Muckleroy of Lufkin, Texas and one brother Alan Glick of Temple, Texas, as well as nieces and their families: Leigh & Brian Paul and son Hudson and daughter Emma of Colleyville, Texas, Shae & James Beeson and sons Mark & William of Cleveland Texas, Paula and Dave Heineman and sons Noah & Kirk of Florissant, Colorado. She also is survived by aunts Betty Stallings of Fairfield, Barbara (Dick) Feather of Fairfield and Brenda (Dean) Gowin of Mattoon and many cousins as well as her longtime friend and helper Tessie Rosenberger of Fairfield.

Cheryl Rae Glick was preceded in death by her parents Bill and Betty Glick as well as her aunts Ina (late Gene) Kingston, Gloria (late Ronnie) Musgrave, Joyce (late Leslie) Mason, and uncles Phillip (late Katie) Stallings and Junior Stallings.

Funeral Services will be held at 11AM on Wednesday, September 22 at Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home with burial in Maple Hill Cemetery. There will be no visitation.

Memorials may be made the Shamrock Services Activity Fund and will be accepted at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home which is in charge of all the arrangements.
